(Elizabeth, IL: Eric Wilson) The investigation into the placement of pipe bombs into rural mailboxes in Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska featured; scenes shown of police investigating one explosion site in Elizabeth, IL. [Postal inspector Silvia CARRIER - says the pipe bombs were already in the mailboxes when mail carriers were delivering mail.] [Stephenson County, IL, Sheriff David SNYDERS - warns people to be careful when checking their mail.]

(Studio: Catherine Callaway) Live press conference concerning the Nebraska pipe bombs shown. [FBI assistant in charge Weysan DUN - says the pipe bombs in Nebraska are similar to those found in Iowa and Illinois; says notes have been found with some bombs; tells the bomber that the effort to get attention has worked; tells people with information to call the authorities.] [Nebraska Governor Mike JOHANNS - says he is concerned about citizens' safety; warns people not to investigate anything unusual on their own.] [US attorney for Nebraska Mike HEAVICAN - asks for people who may have important information to come forward.]
