(Studio) Reagan administration said to face difficulty with regard to sale of F-15 fighter planes to Saudi Arabia. Israelis said opposing sale; Carter administration said to have acted anyway. Israeli opposition to equipping planes with long-range fuel tanks and bomb racks noted. Marvin Kalb said rpting. admin. decision due this week

(DC) Admin. said favoring supply of side-winder missiles and fuel tanks for 60 planes already earmarked for Saudi Arabia. Decision on addl. bomb racks said delayed. United States said ready to sell AWACS planes to Saudi Arabia, but not now. Addl. credits and relaxing of other restrictions on weapons for Israel said being considered to offset sale to Saudi Arabia. Congress restlessness noted. National security adviser Richard Allen, Jack Kemp, Rudy Boschwitz referred to in report Oil and USSR intervention issues said at base of complex situation.
