(Studio) Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge tells North Vietnam President Nixon's popularity has incrd. since November 3 speech; and United States won't ever overturn South Vietnam government as it withdraws. Says South Vietnam would have to approve any agreement with North Vietnam. North Vietnam charged other massacres; Army interested in Lieutenant William Calley.

(Fort Benning, Georgia) Key point of Calley defense is psychological state of men at time of killing. Company had heavy casualties at that period. Men said to be in shock.

(Miami, Florida) Calley's home and school visited. [School Admin. William H. THOMAS - says not active participant, but well-liked.] Calley visited old friend, Charles Queen, 9 mos. after alleged massacre. [Charles QUEEN - says Calley didn't seem troubled. He always understood right from wrong.] Father and sister's trailer home shown. [Sister, Dawn CALLEY - says he was a good brother. Don't believe charges; 1 man couldn't do that alone. Believes he took orders to do this.]
