(Amman, Jordan) Results of Secretary of State Alexander Haig's mtgs. with Israeli Prime Min. Menahem Begin reported [HAIG - condemns Syrian attacks on Christian enclave in Lebanon.] Unident. State Department source noted confirming that United States has contacted Syria, Saudi Arabia, USSR and West allies in effort to halt Lebanon conflict; incring. Israeli pressure for resolution discussed. Haig said dealing with issue during mtgs. tonight with Jordan's King Hussein, as well as Israel's continued occupation of w. bank; long-standing United States ally, Hussein, noted making 1st trip to USSR next month
