(DC) Murder of Chester Bitterman described. Terrorist demands that his employer, Summer Institution of Linguistics, be required to leave Colombia and their accusations that Bitterman was CIA agent noted. His hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, noted. [Via telephone, mother May BITTERMAN - comments with regard to death of her son.] [Wycliffe Bible Translators, Incorporated, director Bernie MAY - talks about dangers of translating Bible into languages of remote peoples.] Secretary of State Alexander Haig quoted with regard to Bitterman's death. Colombia government said investigating incident. President Reagan reported expected to send letter offering assistance to Colombia President Julio Cesar Turbay.
