[Governor Pierre du PONT - thanks Biondi.] [HAYWARD - denies Delaware courted out-of-state banks.] [Chase Manhattan executive vice president Robert DOUGLASS - recalls talks with state officials.] Role of du Pont Chemical Corporation and Irving Shapiro noted; Biondi's part ownership of bank and his efforts with Chase Manhattan discussed. [DOUGLASS - says Biondi was hired as bank's lobbyist.] DE legislature's response to House bill #28 outlined. [MALARKEY - discusses amendments introd.] [BIONDI - tells legislature that bill will have little, if any, impact on state's consumers.] [State senate Robert CONNOR - criticizes defeat of amendments.] [BIONDI - denies conflict of interest] [SHAPIRO - notes politics on state level.] Future action of cong. banking cmtes. and banking industry considered.
