[Representative Carl PERKINS and deputy Agriculture Secretary Richard LYNG - discuss issue of cutbacks' impact on the needy.] [Representatives Bill GOODLING, Arlen ERDAHL - note administration's misrepresentation of facts with regard to budget's impact on the poor.] [American School Food Service Association president Mary NICKS - condemns elimination of national school lunch program.] Committee said calling Lyng back with revised proposals; Lyng's response mentioned.
