(Studio) Israel Cabinet rejects latest United States peace plan for Mideast, calling it appeasement of Arabs. Report on tense American-Israeli relations

(DC) Admin. wants to put discernible distance between it and Israel. Busmen. with oil interests in Mideast, like David Rockefeller, John McCloy, and Robert Anderson, complain to White House with regard to relations there. US identification with Israel helped Arab extremists and hurt moderates. Spokesperson also tired of Israel's insistence on face-to-face negotiations. US leaked its new proposal for Israel-Jordan deal to strengthen hand of Arab moderates at summit. Spokesperson says United States to be right and fair in principle, and take political lumps.
