Addiction to opioids including painkillers and heroin takes more than twenty nine thousand American lives each year. A new treatment for addicts using implants should be available by the end of next month. Anna Werner takes a look. I woke up every day and my focus on life was to find a way to get an Oxycontin in order to function throughout the day 39 year old Chris Borgioni got hooked on painkillers after breaking his hip in 2003. He battled addiction for five years before hitting rock bottom. ...
